Modern massages in Bratislava

Do you have tight, shortened, or overworked muscles? Does long-term stress or pain limit your movement, sports performance, or everyday activities at home or at work?

Experience my holistic massages, where I:
- combine breathing exercises, soft tissue work, mobilizations, and gentle manipulations with elements of osteopathy and chiropractics, and
- use various tools (such as essential oils, flossing, cupping, kinesiology tape, Therragun, myofascial tools, an inversion table, singing bowls, and gongs).

Our session could help you temporarily release tension, feel lightness, improve blood and lymphatic flow, reduce tissue adhesions, relieve pain, and improve mobility, so your body can move freely again and your mind can relax. Effects are always temporary – what we do together could account for only 5% of the success, while the remaining 95% depends on you: your lifestyle, adoption of new movement patterns, and consistent care for your body and mental well-being.

Massages are offered in Bratislava – upon agreement, also early mornings, evenings, or at weekends.

Manual techniques & tools

Soft tissue work, mobilizations, and gentle manipulations would break up adhesions and restrictions in the fascia, improve the glide between tissue layers, stimulate blood flow and lymphatic drainage, relieve pain and increase your mobility and range of motion.

These temporary effects can be further enhanced with inversion table, cupping, Therragun, flossing, essential oils or IASTM.

For your comfort, you can remain fully clothed throughout the massage.

Inversion table

In just a few minutes in the inverted position, fluid is drawn back into the intervertebral discs, improving their hydration and nourishment.

The space between the vertebrae temporarily increases.

The spine gently—but noticeably—stretches, muscles become better circulated and relaxed, and both the joints and internal organs are relieved.

For your comfort, the massage is performed fully clothed.

 Sound massage

If you are going through a period of change or a challenging time, physical touch may not feel comfortable. A sound massage using the Peter Hess® method might be more useful.

Singing bowls are placed on your body, and with gentle strikes sounds and vibrations resonate throughout your body.

They can help release tension and stress, and reconnect you with your inner child.

For your comfort, you remain fully clothed throughout the session.

When is massage not suitable?

I want you to feel comfortable and safe during your visit. There are situations when massage is not appropriate, or when we need to adapt it to make sure it does not cause you any harm. This way, we can ensure that your massage is always a pleasant and beneficial experience.

Massage should be postponed if you have:
  • recently received an infusion or taken strong pain medication,
  • an infection, fever, chills, dizziness, or any acute illness,
  • deep vein thrombosis or lymphedema.

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience:
  • a sudden severe headache or neck pain,
  • pain that wakes you up at night, become worse when straining on the toilet, coughing or sneezing or does not improve at rest or in any position,
  • dizziness, double vision, hearing, speech or swallowing problems,
  • sudden weakness, numbness or tingling, pins and needles in both arms, both legs, chest or abdomen,
  • loss of fine motor skills,
  • difficulty walking or problems with balance,
  • problems with urination and bowel movements (loss of control of urine and stool, problems to start to pee, straining on the toilet)
  • unexplained weight loss.

Massage may be possible after consulting your doctor, but it needs to be adjusted if you have:
  • pregnancy
  • varicose veins,
  • recent botox application,
  • inflammation, swelling, or fresh wounds,
  • osteoporosis,
  • a history of cancer.

Massage will always be tailored to your current condition and needs so that you can enjoy it safely and benefit as much as possible.

About me

Since 2017 I have been a certified / licenced massage therapist and usually you can find me in Bratislava. I love people and quality touch. I will be glad to take a good care of you too. It was fascinating when I experienced and saw how simple work with a shorter lower extremity (leg), vertebrae and ribs could bring about structural changes in a person, as well as immmediate relief and lightness. That´s why since 2023 I have been more specializing in integrative chiropractics and osteopathy, OMT Trainings (Great Britain), iThrust HV/HVLA manipulations (Spain) and Ackermann-Method® soft chiropractic and structural osteopathy (Greece).

Previsously, after a year of medical massage program at the secondary medical school in Bratislava I attended practice with patients at the orthopedic clinic ŠNOP in Bratislava. Moreover, over the past few years I have participated in more than 30 courses and educational events in Great Britain, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Nepal, Thailand, Germany and Belgium taking classes and courses in clinical assessment, pathologies, fascia, aromatherapy, cupping, dry needling, Thai massage, singing bowls, Peter Hess® sound massage, wellness and sports massage, myofascial release, soft tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy.
